About this deal

I brought these headphones to block out, outside noises from the neighbours as well as listen to music at home, they are a smaller size than most and very comfortable to wear, the noise cancelling is very good, I can stand next to the tumble dryer and cant hear it with music playing through the headphones. The headphone has a power LED indicator and cables that are included in the package, such as a USB cable to charge the battery and an audio cable that is compatible with most devices. This means you shouldn’t have any problems creating a decent seal and making the most of the JBL’s noise-cancelling ability. I also find that the pressure that the earpads exert on my ears can be a little uncomfortable during those longer listening sessions.

The noise cancelling is not as good as expected, and the Bluetooth keeps cutting out when they've been between meetings. The Tune600BTNC is a headphone that scores in its daily mobile use with its powerful and loud sound. Overall, JBL Tune 600BTNC headphone is a solid wireless headphone that delivers exceptional sound quality, has a long battery life, and is easy to use.The US company claims that you'll get up to 12 hours' use with Bluetooth and ANC activated, and that extends to 22 hours with those functions switched off. To be absolutely clear, you can eke out a little more performance from the Tune 600BTNC if you wire it to a high quality source but the drop off in performance from switching to wireless is slight and the result is so much more convenient that it really becomes the default method of listening to them. Pressing the volume up or down button for two seconds will skip the track forward or back, and there are also LED lights to tell you if ANC is activated and when your battery is low. With their matte plastic band and contrasting gloss earcups, they're fairly stylish – just don't expect people to salivate with jealousy when you walk past. JBL claims that the cans have a “rugged construction” but, while it would take considerable effort to break them, we did find that the plastic scuffed fairly easily.

Cordless methods were previously less universal, but presently almost all recent music players like the TUNE 600 BTNC include Bluetooth support. It will remain unconnected until connected manually, or until it is reset again, after which it should connect to the last connected device, as usual. If you switch off Bluetooth and switch on noise cancellation – the typical airplane scenario – you get 30 hours.Paul has spent the past eight years testing and writing about gadgets and technology for the likes of Louder, T3 and TechRadar. Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard that allows data transfers between devices placed in close proximity, using short-wavelength, ultra-high frequency radio waves. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

And thanks to the additional detachable cable, music can be enjoyed endlessly in wired mode, with or without Active NoiseCancelling.

There's some white noise when you turn them on/in between songs, but I think that's kinda standard for Bluetooth headsets. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. As previously mentioned, these headphones are wireless – however, they come with a detachable cable, meaning you can listen to your music tethered if you so wish (and your smartphone has a socket for it).

Due to that lack of weight and an absence of clamp, the fit remains comfortable – even for my huge Dumbo ears. For over 70 years, JBL has engineered the precise, impressive sound found in big venues around the world. The headphone's impedance is 32 Ω and its sensitivity is 100 dB, making it capable of delivering clear and crisp sound even at high volume levels. The equally comfortable, easy and fast-to-use handset is not necessarily cheap, with an MSRP of just under one hundred euros, but offers a good processing and powerful sound with the bonus of simple active noise cancelling. The JBL’s were left running wired for 24 hours before any serious testing was undertaken as they arrived absolutely brand new. This is slightly smaller than the default 40mm size that seems to feature in a huge swathe of headphones at the moment but anyone fearing that there will be a lack of bass extension probably ought not to be concerned.
