CRI: Average 96 TLCI: Average 98 Color Temperature (Kelvin): 2700K-6500K Lumen Output 3200K: 13304 Lumen Output 5600K: 18066 Beam Angle Flood: 45 Degrees (Requires FL-20G Fresnel) Beam Angle Spot: 10 Degrees (Requires FL-20G Fresnel) Dimming: 0-100% DMX Control: Yes Compatible Remote: WS-RC-C2 Remote Control Wireless Control Type: 2.4GHz TRUST WHAT YOU SEE - Nanlite users praise the beautiful light our fixtures produce first and foremost, but the light from Forza 300 II doesn't just look good—it's accurate. With a CRI of 96 and TLCI of 97, you won't waste time in post fixing color issues.

Nanlite Forza lights always come with good quality padded cases, but we stepped it up a notch. The cases have been redesigned, and now feature better cushioning and overall protection. The new versions also feature smaller endcaps, larger illumination surfaces, a wide green-to-magenta adjustment range of +/- 150 and an expanded CCT range of of 2,700 to 6,500K.

The Forza 500 II and 500B II fixtures feature W(RG)/WW(RG) light mixing color calibration systems with G/M±80 tunability. Of note, the new Forza 300 II and 300B II are what Nanlite is calling the world’s first 300W LED 5600K and bi-color spotlights with +/- 80 green-to-magenta adjustment. Nanlite says that there are 300W lights with green-to-magenta shift out there, but they have full spectrum LEDs that cost over twice as much, so the company considers that a separate category of light fixture. BOWENS STYLE LIGHT Modifier MOUNT - By utilizing the near-universal Bowens style light modifier mount, the Forza 300 is compatible with a massive selection of light modifiers. Including, but not limited to Nanlite's line of softboxes and umbrellas. Above you can see what the light looks like at a distance of 3m /9.9′ when using its reflector. The nice aspect of the reflector is that it doesn’t have a hot spot. Finally, the included cables are longer (head cables are 9.8 feet long and the power cables are 19.8 feet long), the cooling fans are 9dBA quiter, and just as is the case with the Forza 60 II models, both 300 II lights have protected glass-covered COB light sources. Nanlite Forza 500 II and 500B II

What you also clearly need to remember with point source lights such as this one is that even though they can generate a decent amount of output when not used with diffusion, once you add diffusion they lose a ton of output because that output is coming from a very small concentrated source. G/M ADJUSTMENT - World's first 300-watt bi-colour spotlight that lets you adjust green-to-magenta shift by +/- 80, made possible by the WW(RG) LED source and light-mixing chamber. Above you can see the scores for the Forza 300B II at various Kelvin color temperatures. Below I have listed the figures as well. Nanlite users praise the beautiful quality of light our fixtures produce first and foremost. Light from the Forza 300B II doesn't just look good—it's accurate. With an average CRI of 96 and an average TLCI of 97, you won't waste time in post-production trying to fix color issues.

POWER ANYWHERE - Optimized for use in the studio or on location, the Forza 500 can run off either the included AC adapter or 2x 26V V-Mount batteries (Not Included) so you can operate in any location regardless of power availability.

As a color rendering accuracy comparison, the Nanlite Forza 720B recorded an average CRI (R1-R8) of 98.6 and an extended CRI (R1-R15) of 97.04. The FS-300B, which is a budget fixture, had better color rendering scores than the Forza 300B II. The Forza 60 II is claimed to be able to output 17,620lux @1m with its reflector being used. Conversely, the Forza 60B II is claimed to output 14,350lux @1m without is reflector being used. The lights also have a Maximum/Constant output mode and the Forza 60B II is CCT adjustable from 2700K to 6500K. Both fixtures have a CRI and TLCI rated at 96 and 98 respectively. The NanliteForza 300B II is a solid offering. It is very CCT accurate, has a good amount of output, and most importantly is compact and easy to use. Its versatility makes it a fixture you can use for so many different applications. As it utilizes a Bowens mount you can use a wide array of affordable lighting modifiers. Nanlite also makes quite a few of its own accessories for the light. Conclusion

Compact design for control box with power adapter incorporated inside, reducing the overall size of the Forza 300/300B II by 37% New adjustable cooling system with 4 operation modes available: SMART, FULLSPEED, LOW SPEED, and OFF The Effects mode lets you recreate a wide range of lighting effects that can be handy for certain scenarios. You can see what effects are available above. The Forza 300II and 300B II both come with a standard Bowens mount and an extra umbrella mount. Assorted modifiers under NANLITE or other third parties can be attached. If there's a sweetspot in the Forza product line, it would have to be the 300's, because they perfectly realize the vision of being as powerful as possible, while also being compact, lightweight, and built tough. The new Nanlite Forza 300 II and 300B II definitely have the same enticing characteristics as the first generation, while adding new levels of versatility and power to the mix. The result are lights that can be your go-to instruments for any shoot, whether the set is in your home, on a professional sound stage, or out in the wilderness.

The Fl-20G's rotating barrel design enables beam angle adjustment from spot (10°) to flood (45°) with an intuitive twisting motion.

So now let’s get to the photometric results. I always test lights in this way so that I get a reference to how they compare to other fixtures. Results only tell part of the story and should never be used alone to judge a light. I have found from extensive testing over the years that certain lights that have good photometric results don’t always look good, and lights that have worse photometric scores can sometimes look better than their results indicate. As a color rendering accuracy comparison, the Nanlite Forza 720B recorded an average CRI (R1-R8) of 96.5 and an extended CRI (R1-R15) of 96.22. The budget Nanlite FS-300B also had near identical results to the Forza 720B. The LCD screen on the power supply/controller looks similar to what you would find on most of the Nanlite products. Although it is fairly basic, it does clearly show you key information about the light’s operating modes, brightness, CCT, etc. Optimized for use in the studio or on location, the Forza 300 can run off either the included AC adapter or 2x 14.8V V-Mount batteries (Not Included) so you can operate in any location regardless of power availability.
