This whole book is a moan fest about an over privileged young girl who has everything given to her and so can't handle any adversity and by the end still doesn't seem to have learnt anything.Over the 301 days that followed, she developed a debilitating fear of farmyard animals, cried on a lot of beaches and saw Britain at its most wild and wonderful. It's almost inevitable but when you spend so much time alone your mind is going to travel back in time to past events, each time his thoughts end up with his difficult relationship with his dad, it was fun to read him meeting up with his dad and realising they seem to have swopped places.
