About this deal

The high frequencies are really where these headphones shine. They’re clear and crisp, offering plenty of sizzle in the cymbals and vocal sibilance — which is a good thing. If you rather not take a risk on the build quality, I would recommend going for the Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless instead. Other than the battery life (15hr vs 22hr) and aesthetics, the Skullcandy Hesh 2 is pretty much similar to the Hesh 3 except with a more stable frame. Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless While the Skullcandy Hesh 3 don’t come with a carrying case, they fold flat or up for easy transport. It would have been nice to see a carrying pouch or case but the headphones feel durable enough to be stuffed in a bag without a case. Features and performance a b c Roy, S. On the other hand, the tightness gives a great seal, so the isolation is top notch. Ear pads are soft and good quality, although heat does build inside up when worn for long periods. Specs HESH rounds were fielded mainly by the British Army as the main explosive round of its main battle tanks during the Cold War. It was also used by other military forces, especially those that acquired the early post-World War II British 105mm Royal Ordnance L7A1 tank gun, including Germany, India, Israel, and Sweden. It is possible that you may experience other problems when connecting your headphones to your phone or another Bluetooth-enabled device, but the most common problem that people face is a pairing issue between the headphones and their Bluetooth device. Thus, you will want to discover the answers to your particular problems with getting your headphones to connect to your Bluetooth device. In terms of a feature set, the Skullcandy Hesh 3 are a basic pair of headphones: You won’t find active noise cancellation, auto play/pause, or multipoint Bluetooth here. The Hesh 3 can’t connect simultaneously to two devices at once either, but neither do other products in this price range. In general, the Skullcandy Hesh 3 Wireless headphones are decently built, and while the build quality leaves a little to be desired and we would have liked a carry case or bag, those things aren’t deal-breakers. Comfort

Build and Design

To be clear, the headphones aren’t built for audiophiles — but they do sound pretty good. The sound is tuned for consumers, and as such has a classic EQ tuning — boosted lows and highs, and a slight dip in mids. Apart from the frequency response, we didn’t experience any distortion except at unsafely loud levels. Performance The soft, well-padded pad that sits between the top of your head and the headband somehow feels bigger than its actual below-average size. There’s no automatic play and pause function when you take the headphones off to help you avoid missing out on your music. You get standard Bluetooth on the Hesh 3, and you won’t find the higher quality Aptx codec. The range was good, taking about 60ft before breaking up in a clear line of sight with our device. It should also be noted that you can only connect to one device at a time and that you won’t have the ability to hook it up to both a computer and phone simultaneously. Comfort The Skullcandy Hesh 3 over-ear headphones are a cosy pair of mid-market headphones offering excellent battery life, Bluetooth wireless technology, and a noise-isolating fit.

Female vocals shine slightly brighter than male vocals as it brings out the details in them more clearly. Guitar strings response pretty well, and this would be able to handle fast-paced songs; aka pop, EDM, etc. Treble The Skullcandy Hesh 3 suffer different problems to some of their rivals. They sound better than the JBL E55BT, Sony XB-650BT and Motorola Escape Pulse+, offering cleaner bass or better mid-range clarity. Or both.Surprisingly, it’s the higher frequencies where these headphones really shine. They sound crisp and clear, with plenty of sizzle in the vocals and the cymbals. Skullcandy is an experienced brand, and as such you would expect the headphones to offer a decent sound — so it wasn’t much of a surprise when they did. The Hesh 3 are Bluetooth headphones, but they don’t offer more special features such as aptX HD and active noise cancellation. However, if you’re simply after a solid, affordable wireless set of headphones then you won’t necessarily be wanting these extras. a b c d e f g Deshpande, P.U.; Prabhu, V.D.; Prabhakaran, K.V.
