One of Theo's cogs is reused as a part on a flatbed in Brazil in the twenty-third series episode, Batucada. Theo is the only Adventures model not to feature a front hook despite having one in the television series.The only special where Vinnie, Carlos, Rajiv, Yong Bao and the Fat Clergyman do not appear since their introductions in The Great Race. Although he appeared in the twelfth series, Arthur was never seen with a CGI face. Despite this, a 2021 display by Sam Wilkinson revealed that he did have a target used for animation reference that would be placed on his smokebox instead of a face, much like the engines who had CGI faces.
