About this deal

Wellspring of Arcane Might –Reroll all casting and unbinding rolls for the bearer. This is obviously good on its surface, and can really help guarantee you get the Mass conjuration agenda to fire off. A This unit can attempt to manifest one psychic power in your Psychic phase and attempt to deny one psychic power in your opponent’s Psychic phase. It knows Smite.

As befits the Changer of Ways, there are many different ways to use your battleforce, and, thanks to the rules-wizards in the studio, you’ll even get a Warscroll Battalion in the box to use them with. With only a few extra steps, you’ll be able to transform your Tzeentch Arcanites Changecult into any number of forms to suit your needs. Instead of making 1 of the rolls from the list below for a friendly DISCIPLES OF TZEENTCH unit, you can spend 1 or more of your Destiny Dice. The roll you would have made is replaced with the roll on the Destiny Dice you spend. If you want to replace an xD6 roll ( core rules, 1.5.2), you must spend a number of Destiny Dice equal to the ‘x’. Any rolls that have been replaced count as unmodified rolls and cannot be re-rolled, changed or modified unless noted below. Destiny Dice can be spent in place of the following dice rolls: The last mention goes to the warband reaction: Twist of Fate. It can be used to change the value of a Double ability but depends on an enemy rolling high against you (can be used by a fighter that is going to die so that you don’t waste his actions). However, when we look at Doubles that would benefit from an increased value, we find only the Tzaangor’s Mutant Vicious Beak and the Leader’s Locus of Sorcery limiting notably it’s usefulness. Realistically finding it is a bit more difficult. A more viable option is the Aether War box, if you can find a friend to split with it, it shares the box with Kharadron Overlords so if you can find a friend to split the cost it will give you some solid units to get started. In the box you’ll find 6 Tzaangor Skyfire/Enlightened (I recommend building them all as enlightened with spears), 3 screamers of Tzeentch and a Magister of Tzeentch on a disc. This box is a little more unfocused and doesn’t give you what you need to play a matched play game. So if you buy this I would still buy yourself some Tzaangors and/or Kairic acolytes to fulfill your battleline combination. A Tzaangor Shaman or Fatemaster would round out the list with another Hero to be the Magister’s friend in crime.and terrifying zeal. They are the chosen mortal warriors of Tzeentch, and with the proper chants and rites they are Ah this is a classic we haven’t seen in a while. Hallowheart allows a great combo of a Runelord granting +1 to wound for Irondrakes, who get extra shots when they don’t move. Since the bridge does not count as a move they can put themselves in optimum firing position before letting loose.

Pedromancer Lechado – Slaves to Darkness: Knights of Empty Throne Varanguard and Sorcerer Lords lead Untamed Beasts and a Krondspine. Another ability available to all Leaders is Master of Destiny, that for a Triple enables to increase the value of all other abilities up to 6 on a range of 12″. The concept is that you trade a high Triple improving all other abilities. It is extremely situational as if you have a high Triple you could just rather use it directly on other abilities, plus you could use an enemy hit roll to upgrade a Double any way using the reaction Twist of Fate.Unfortunately, the abilities of particular interest end here as Master of Destiny needs to use an awful high amount of dice to pump the Tzaangor abilities up to 6 and the Guided abilities are really situational. John Lindsey – Lumineth Realm-Lords: Teclis and a Cathaller with 20 wardens and 20 sentinels, plus the Krondspine. A unique mechanic to Disciples of Tzeentch. Each turn you may select an agenda from a list, you must tell your opponent which one you’re trying to complete. If you complete the agenda, the unit who completed it recieves a boon, which is a permanent buff for the rest of the game. You can only complete an agenda once per game, and a unit cannot have more than one boon at a time (if they gain a new one it overwrites the only one). Masters of Destiny -Before the game begins, you roll 9 dice and set them aside. You can use these to pre-determine certain dice rolls to ensure victory. The one on Disc of Tzeentch has also the same melee profile, 10″ flying Movement and Toughness 4. He has however 28 wounds.

Same deal with the shields – I'd actually also add those as an option for Tzaangors, who can after all use them in AoS (probably up their "autopistols" to S4, too – so you've got either the ranged aspect or the +1AP of the double-blades). As a bit of commentary my one complaint about the Daemon battalions is this obsession with the number of 9 (because it’s the number of Tzeentch you see) which causes them to be severely bloated and require way too many units that balloon the cost so you’re forced to stuff them with more units than you need. Except for one, one is actually bullshit and see if you can guess which one. In melee they differentiate a bit, with the Adept hitting at 2” range for 4 damage on critical hit. The Acolyte with Cursed Glaive has same melee weapon profile as the Adept. However, you have to rush to activate before your target or you will not be able to use the ability. In melee it has the same considerations as Guided by the Past where Uttered Words can statistically do more damage on a lower ability score.Do you want a mastery over magic? Do you have a thing for avians or lovecraftian horrors? Do you want to see a plan come together on a cosmic scale? Then come join the Changer of Ways, Tzeentch. I won't go too deep into that here, since it is thoroughly explained in Silver Tower project showcase, with all the intricacies or reserved and denied colors, and managing colors across the whole box. While the Tzeentch army is vast and exciting, especially with new coalition rules, these are a few units you’ll always want to consider. 1. Lord of Change It started well, but things have really slowed down over the last few weeks as I've had less free time for painting.
